AZi Harrison (also known by their stage name, Vague Static) is a New York City native and a true jack of all trades when it comes to multimedia art!
After graduating from the NYU Game Center with a BFA in Game Design, they’ve gone on to combine their love for interactive storytelling with their experience in modern and improvisational dance – thanks to their over a decade’s long work at the Loco-Motion Dance Theatre for Children. Their passion for combining different styles and art forms makes them an inventive collaborator.
Creating with accessibility in mind is an important aspect of their work — and with a deep desire to engage their audience to think critically, they’ve taken many opportunities to expand the minds of young creatives. Previously having taught Game Design classes in afterschool settings, they currently are part of the production team for the all-inclusive drag collective Lil Park Drag Show.
Whether looking for art direction, wearable art, or thought-provoking performance experiences, AZi Harrison is open and ready to express and create.
